Ingalill Mosander
Ingalill Margareta Mosander, née Larsson (born 17 July 1943), is a Swedish journalist, known as a prolific book reviewer on television and in printed media. Biography Mosander was born in Eskilstuna. She has worked as a journalist at ''Dagens Nyheter'', ''Vestmanlands Läns Tidning'', '' Bildjournalen'', '' Vecko-Journalen'' and ''Expressen'', and at ''Aftonbladet'' since 1979. In 2006, the magazine ''Svensk bokhandel'' named her "Sweden's most influential journalist in the book business". She was the host of the '' Sommar'' radio show in June 2014. Mosander also reviews books for the website Senioren. In 2004, she was awarded the Axel Liffner-stipend. From 1999 until 2019, Mosander reviewed books weekly for the television show '' Go'kväll'' broadcast on SVT. Eskilstuna () is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. The city of Eskilstuna had 67,359 inhabitants in 2015, with a total population of 100,092 inhabitants in Eskilstuna municipality (2014). Eskilstuna has a large Sweden Finn population. The town is located on the River Eskilstunaån, which connects Lake Hjälmaren and Lake Mälaren. History Eskilstuna's history dates back to medieval times when English monk Saint Eskil made "Tuna" his base and diocese of the South coast of Lake Mälaren. Saint Eskil was stoned to death by the pagan vikings of neighbouring town Strängnäs, east of Eskilstuna, trying to convert them to Christianity. Francesco Schettino
Francesco Schettino (; born 14 November 1960) is an Italian former shipmaster who commanded the cruise ship ''Costa Concordia'' when it struck an underwater rock and capsized with the deaths of 32 passengers and crew off the Italian island of Giglio on 13 January 2012. In 2015, he was sentenced to sixteen years in prison for his role in the incident. He began serving his sentence in 2017 after exhausting his appeals. Early life and education Francesco Schettino was born in Castellammare di Stabia into a seafaring family based in Meta, Campania. He attended the nautical institute Nino Bixio in Piano di Sorrento, then worked for the ferry company Tirrenia. Costa Concordia Disaster
On 13 January 2012, the eight-year-old Costa Cruises vessel '' Costa Concordia'' was on the last leg of a cruise around the Mediterranean Sea when she deviated from her planned route at Isola del Giglio, Tuscany, sailed closer to the island, and struck a rock formation on the sea floor. This caused the ship to list and then capsize, landing unevenly on an underwater ledge. Although a six-hour rescue effort brought most of the passengers ashore, 33 people died:27 passengers, five crew, and later, a member of the salvage team. An investigation focused on shortcomings in the procedures followed by ''Costa Concordia'' crew and the actions of her captain, Francesco Schettino, who left the ship prematurely. Jan Eric Gustaf Mosander (born 13 August 1944) is a Swedish journalist and author. Biography Mosander was born in Stockholm and grew up in Helsinki, Finland. In Finland he worked as a reporter for the newspapers ''Västa Nyland'' in Ekenäs and ''Nya Pressen'' in Helsinki. In 1968, he had moved to Sweden and worked as a reporter for ''Expressen'' in Stockholm. He was a foreign correspondent in Germany for ''Expressen'' between 1970 and 1973, and for Sveriges Radio between 1994 and 1997. He has won Stora journalistpriset in 1987.
