Infinity Football Club is a football club currently based in Sidlesham, West Sussex. The club compete in . History Founded in 2006, Infinity joined the Winchester & District League, before joining the Hampshire League 2004 in 2009, finishing runners-up in 2011. Following the Hampshire League 2004 dissolving in 2013, Infinity joined the Hampshire Premier League Division One. In 2015, the club won Division One, gaining promotion to the Senior Division. In 2019, the club finished as runners up in the Senior Division. In 2021, the club was admitted into the Wessex League Division One. On 6 February 2022, Infinity withdrew from the Wessex League, following the termination of their groundsharing agreement with Hythe & Dibden. Ahead of the following season, the club relocated to Sidlesham to play at the local recreation ground and restarted life back in the Hampshire Premier League Division One. Sidlesham
Sidlesham is a small village and civil parish, on the Manhood Peninsula, five kilometres (3 miles) south of Chichester in the Chichester District of West Sussex, England. It has a small primary school. The area has had a prebendary since medieval times. The 13th-century church of St Mary Our Lady is built of stone rubble, not the usual flint of the area. The parish has a land area of 1753 hectares (4330 acres). In the 2001 census 1139 people lived in 448 households, of whom 579 were economically active. At the 2011 Census the population had increased to 1,171. The parish has fertile soils on the flat Chichester plain and there are many glasshouses around the village. The Hampshire League 2004 was an English football league comprising teams located in Hampshire. It was formed in 2004, ran for nine seasons and served as a feeder league to Step 7 of the National League System. It was an unofficial continuation of the original Hampshire League which had controversially been disbanded earlier the same year. History The competition was originally formed in June 2004 following the expansion of the Wessex League, as not all the clubs from the recently disbanded Hampshire League were able to meet the stricter ground criteria and so re-formed a new successor competition. The L4 Teamwear Hampshire Premier League is a football competition based in Hampshire, England. The league was formed in 2007 and currently consists of a 'Senior Division' of 17 teams - including some previous members of the disbanded Division 2 of the Wessex League - and a Division One of 15 teams. Wessex Football League
The Wessex Football League is an English association football league formed in 1986, with its premier division currently at the fifth step of the National League System, or the ninth tier of the overall English football league system. The participating clubs are mainly based in Hampshire and Dorset but the league also encompasses clubs from adjoining counties such as Wiltshire, Berkshire, and the Isle of Wight. In 2004, it absorbed most of the clubs from its feeder league, the Hampshire League, which formed a new Division Two and Division Three. In 2006 the divisions were renamed as the Premier Division and Divisions One and Two.
