Infinity Drips
''Infinity Drips'' is the thirty-fourth studio album by Omar Rodríguez-López as a solo artist, released on 21 October 2016. It is his eighth release in the 12 album series initiated by Ipecac Recordings. "Zuben El Genubi" was uploaded in advance as the album's single. Background ''Infinity Drips'' shares its name with a piece of artwork created by Omar's longtime artistic collaborator Sonny Kay. It appeared in the booklet for the compilation album ''Telesterion (album), Telesterion'', so it was assumed that the piece would become cover art for a future release by Rodriguez-Lopez. The album however features a different artwork made by Elyn Kazarian, while Kay's artwork went on to be used for Anywhere (band), Anywhere's album ''Anywhere II'' in 2018. The album has Middle Eastern aesthetic and diverse instrumentation. It was described as a result of Rodríguez-López's trip to Jerusalem, "reflecting Arab influences in Latin culture". Teri Gender Bender talked about the album in a ...

Unicorn Skeleton Mask
The unicorn is a legendary creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a single large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead. In European literature and art, the unicorn has for the last thousand years or so been depicted as a white horse- or goat-like animal with a long straight horn with spiraling grooves, cloven hooves, and sometimes a goat's beard. In the Middle Ages and Renaissance, it was commonly described as an extremely wild woodland creature, a symbol of purity and grace, which could be captured only by a virgin. In encyclopedias, its horn was described as having the power to render poisoned water potable and to heal sickness. In medieval and Renaissance times, the tusk of the narwhal was sometimes sold as a unicorn horn. A bovine type of unicorn is thought by some scholars to have been depicted in seals of the Bronze Age Indus Valley civilization, the interpretation remaining controversial. An equine form of the unicorn was men ...

Le Butcherettes is a Mexican garage punk band formed in 2007 in Guadalajara by Teri Gender Bender. History Le Butcherettes was created by vocalist/guitarist Teri Gender Bender, who later recruited drummer Auryn Jolene to form a duo. Their live act, featuring 1950s fashions and props such as brooms, feather dusters, and bloody aprons to refer to women being slaves, quickly achieved acclaim in the Mexican underground scene. Teri Gender Bender would also use artificial blood, flour, eggs, meat, and a real pig head on stage. The band won "Best New Artist" and "Best Punk Record" in the Indie-O Awards 2009. Notable 2009 appearances include Hellow Fest in Monterrey and opening for The Dead Weather in their Mexico City and Guadalajara shows. In J ...
