Infinite (Notaker Song)
Infinite is a new beat song by American electronic music producer Notaker. The song was released on 22 April 2016, by the Canadian record label Monstercat. Reception and release Infinite was well received by a wide range of critics. DJ Mag rated the song an 8/10 saying, "Notaker brings out the big guns with ‘Infinite’ for a record full of chunky grooves and epic electro melodies that signals his arrival as a progressive force to be reckoned with." Toby Reaper of Dancing Astronaut described Notaker's style in Infinite as "spacey, adventurous buildups and heavy, technical drops into a progressive sound that thrives in the mid-tempo range". Notaker
David Nothaker (born September 23, 1989), better known by his stage name Notaker (stylized as И O T A K E R), is an American DJ and producer based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is best known for his midtempo-progressive style and for breakout singles like " Infinite", " Shimmer", and " The Storm" which have amassed over 11 million, 2.5 million, and 3.7 million streams on Spotify respectively. Notaker has performed at music festivals across the United States including Global Dance Festival in Denver, Das Energy in Utah, and Freaky Deaky in Texas. Early life Nothaker first got into electronic music after attending his first electronic music show and then being encouraged by a friend to write music. He noted Hans Zimmer, deadmau5, Eric Prydz and M83 as his inspirations. Synthwave (also called retrowave, or futuresynth) is an electronic music microgenre that is based predominantly on the music associated with the film soundtracks of action films, science fiction films, and horror films of the 1980s. Other influences are drawn from the decade's art and video games. Synthwave musicians often espouse nostalgia for 1980s culture and attempt to capture the era's atmosphere and celebrate it.
