Ineke Hans
Ineke Hans (born November 18, 1966) is Dutch industrial designer. Biography Ineke Hans started studying Art at Hogeschool voor de Beeldende Kunsten in Arnhem (now ArtEZ) but soon switched to study 3D design. In 1991 she graduated with one-off furniture and small-batch products at the Product Design Department. She moved to London in 1993 and graduated with an MA in Furniture design from the Royal College of Art in 1995. Vico Magistretti had been visiting tutor during her time there. After graduation Habitat UK asked her to work with them as a furniture designer, but soon she was also designing accessories for them. After 2 years she started to develop furniture herself. In 1997 this resulted in a self-initiated design presentation in The Tramshed, a derelict building in East London. Valkhof Museum
The Valkhof Museum ( nl, Museum Het Valkhof) is an archaeology and art museum in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The museum has existed since 1999, created as a merger between the G. M. Kam museum of archaeology and the Commanderie van St. Jan museum of classical and modern art. The museum's collection includes a large and important collection of local Roman archaeological finds and art (mostly modern). The museum stands on the edge of the Valkhof park, site of a Roman army camp and a citadel built by Charlemagne. The museum's building was designed by Dutch architect Ben van Berkel and was opened on 14 September 1999 by Queen Beatrix. In November 2008, the official name of the museum was changed to Valkhof-Kam. This reflected an agreement reached with the heirs of G. M. Kam. Trajan's Forum
Trajan's Forum ( la, Forum Traiani; it, Foro di Traiano) was the last of the Imperial fora to be constructed in ancient Rome. The architect Apollodorus of Damascus oversaw its construction. History This forum was built on the order of the emperor Trajan with the spoils of war from the conquest of Dacia, which ended in 106. The construction began between 105 and 107; according to the ''Fasti Ostienses'' the Forum was inaugurated in 112. Trajan's Column was erected and then inaugurated in 113. To build this monumental complex, extensive excavations were required: workers eliminated a ridge connecting the Quirinal and Capitoline (Campidoglio) Hills. Over 300,000 cubic meters of soil and rock were excavated and dumped outside the Porta Collina. The Centre national des arts plastiques (National Centre for Visual Arts, Cnap) is a French institution established in 1982 under the Ministry of Culture and Communication that promotes creation of visual arts. Kunstmuseum Den Haag
The Kunstmuseum Den Haag is an art museum in The Hague in the Netherlands, founded in 1866 as the Museum voor Moderne Kunst. Later, until 1998, it was known as Haags Gemeentemuseum, and until the end of September 2019 as Gemeentemuseum Den Haag. It has a collection of around 165,000 works, over many different forms of art.
