''Indru Nee Naalai Naan'' () is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by Major Sundarrajan. The film stars Sivakumar, Jaishankar, Lakshmi and Sulakshana. It is based on the novel ''Thookku Mara Nizhalil'' by C. A. Balan. The film was released on 12 August 1983. Plot Pazhaniappan is an orphan living in a village and is employed in Marudhachalam's home right from his childhood. Marudu’s parents treat Pazhani as their own son. Marudu is the village president and aspires to achieve big in politics. Papathi lives in a nearby village and it is tough to find a groom for her as her mother happened to be a concubine for a local landlord and hence no one prefers to marry Papathi. Valli is the childhood friend of Papathi. One day, Pazhani sees Papathi and suggests that she marry Marudu as Marudu does not believe in caste system and leads several social economic reforms in the village. Major Sundarrajan
Srinivasan Sundarrajan (17 March 1935 – 28 February 2003), popularly known as Major Sundarrajan, was an Indian actor and film director who performed predominantly in Tamil language films and plays. He was well known for his sophisticated and urbane way of delivering dialogues, often mixing English and Tamil sentences. Early life Sundarrajan was born on 17 March 1935 in a middle-class family in Periyakulam, Madurai. His father Srinivasa Iyengar was a stage actor. Sundarrajan's first stint with acting came when he was in the sixth grade; at this point he was cast in a Hindi play of his school. He went on to act in numerous school and college plays. After graduating with a degree in science, Sundarrajan went to Madras (now Chennai), where his uncle Veeraraghavan was an amateur actor in the Triplicane Fine Arts theatre troupe. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil-language weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as '' Ponniyin Selvan'' and '' Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Subha (writers)
Subha is the name used by the writing partnership of D. Suresh and A. N. Balakrishnan, who write stories, detective novels and screenplays in Tamil. Work The duo began co-authoring stories when they were in college together, and have been publishing their work since 1979. They have published more than 450 short novels and more than 400 short stories. Most of their detective novels feature the characters Narendran and Vaijayanthi of Eagle Eye Detective Agency, and their coworker John Sundar. Other characters created by Subha are Selva and Murugesan, who also feature in their detective stories, and John Sembaruthi, who is a character in some of Subha's novels set in the army.
