Indra Soundar Rajan
P. Soundar Rajan (13 November 1958 – 10 November 2024), known by the pen name Indra Soundar Rajan, was an Indian Tamil language, Tamil author of short stories, novels, television serials, and screenplays. Work Indra Soundar Rajan was an expert on South Indian Hindu traditions and mythological lore. He was employed in TVS Group of Companies before becoming a full-time writer. His stories typically deal with cases of supernatural occurrence, divine intervention, reincarnation, and ghosts; many stories foreground the conflict between rationalism, faith, and superstition. His stories are often based on or inspired by true stories reported from various locales around the state of Tamil Nadu. Through most of the 1990s and 2000s, two or three of his "pocket novels" (about the length of a novella in English) were published every month in publications such as ''Crime Story'' and ''Today Crime News''. Star Bharat is an Indian Hindi-language general entertainment pay television channel owned by JioStar, a joint venture between Viacom18 and Disney India. It was launched on 28 August 2017, rebranded from Life OK. Zee Tamil is an Indian Tamil language pay television general entertainment channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The channel started broadcasting on 2008 and is available internationally. ''Puguntha Veedu'' () is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Pattu in his debut and written by A. S. Prakasam. The film stars A. V. M. Rajan, Ravichandran, Savitri, Lakshmi and Chandrakala. It was released on 13 April 1972 and became a success. The film was remade in Telugu as '' Puttinillu Mettinillu'', in Kannada as ''Devara Gudi'', in Malayalam as ''Sindhu'' and in Hindi as ''Teri Kasam''. Plot Cast Production Sivakumar was to play the role that Ravichandran eventually played. It is the directorial debut of Pattu. During the filming of one scene, the producer Subramaniam slapped Rajan who then informed Sivaji Ganesan, who was shooting for another film in the same studio; in revenge he reprimanded and slapped Subramaniam.
