Indiana Invaders
The Indiana Invaders was an American soccer team based in South Bend, Indiana, United States. Founded in 1998, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference. The team played its home games at the soccer-specific Indiana Invaders Soccer Complex since 2003. The team's colors were blue, gold and black. The team was part of the larger Invaders FC soccer club, which organizes more than 25 boys and girls youth soccer teams in northern Indiana. The club also fielded a team in the USL's Super-20 League, a league for players 17 to 20 years of age run under the United Soccer Leagues umbrella. South Bend, Indiana
South Bend is a city in and the county seat of St. Joseph County, Indiana, on the St. Joseph River near its southernmost bend, from which it derives its name. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total of 103,453 residents and is the fourth-largest city in Indiana. The metropolitan area had a population of 324,501 in 2020, while its combined statistical area had 812,199. The city is located just south of Indiana's border with Michigan. The area was settled in the early 19th century by fur traders and was established as a city in 1865. The St. Joseph River shaped South Bend's economy through the mid-20th century. Steven Perry
Steven Perry (born September 7, 1988 in Edmond, Oklahoma) is an American soccer player. Career Perry played college soccer at the University of Notre Dame between 2007 and 2010. At college he was named - 2010 First Team All-Big East, 2010 Second Team All-Great lakes Region and was Four-Time Big-East Academic All-Star. During his time at Notre Dame, Perry also played for USL Premier Development League club Indiana Invaders in 2009 and 2010. On January 13, 2011 Perry was drafted in the third round (39th overall) of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft by New England Revolution, but was not signed by the club. USL League Two Teams
The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. Lance Watson
Lance Watson (born October 6, 1983 in Nederland, Texas) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Watson played college soccer at the University of New Mexico from 2002 to 2005. He finished his career with 22 assists, good enough for second all-time in school history, and helped lead the Lobos to the 2005 NCAA Championship game. He also played in the USL Premier Development League, for Indiana Invaders in 2004 and Chicago Fire Premier in 2005. Phil Tuttle
Phil Tuttle (born October 19, 1987, in Hooksett, New Hampshire) is an American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Tuttle is a product of the University of Notre Dame, where during his five years he appeared in 33 games, starting 29 and posted a 0.94 goals against average with nine shutouts. He ended his collegiate career with a 16-10-4 record and helped lead the Irish to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Michael Tanke
Michael Tanke (born August 18, 1989 in Merrillville, Indiana) is an American former soccer player and current coach. Career College and amateur Tanke attended Niles High School, in Niles, Michigan, where he was named to the All-State First Team in 2006 and was a four-time All-Conference, three-time All-District and two-time All-Region honoree, played in the Region II Olympic Development Program, and played club soccer for the Indy Burn Eagles, before going on to play four years of college soccer for the Rams at the University of Rhode Island. Jack Stewart (born May 29, 1983, in Torrance, California) is an American soccer player who last played for Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League. Career High school Stewart attended South High School Torrance, CA, where he was a standout player voted to All-League and All-CIF awards. College and Amateur Stewart played college soccer at the University of Notre Dame, where he was named All- Big East his junior and senior seasons. is a Japanese former football player. Club career Sato started his professional career in the J2 League. In 2010, after a trial with the Primera División de México club Puebla FC, he signed a 4-year contract. Kwame Sarkodie (born April 27, 1985) is an American former professional soccer player. Career College and amateur Born in Dayton, Ohio, Sarkodie played college soccer at the University of Cincinnati.
