India Tower (previously known as the Park Hyatt Tower; also known as the Dynamix Balwas Tower or DB Tower) is an upcoming 126-story, megatall skyscraper that began construction in the city of Mumbai, India, in 2010. The tower was originally planned for completion in 2016, but construction work was put on hold in 2011 due to a dispute between the tower's developers and Mumbai's civic authorities. Planning and construction The Dynamix Balwas realtor Group first proposed the project, under the name of ''Park Hyatt Tower'', in 2008. The Dynamix Balwas proposal would have been an 85-story tower with a height of . The project was subsequently dropped, before being revived and amended in 2010 as a much taller building. In January 2010, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation authorised the tower's construction on a site located at Charni Road in Girgaon, southern Mumbai, just north of Mumbai's historical CBD (Central Business District). The Legacy Tower is an under-construction supertall skyscraper in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The skyscraper is a part of Bangabandhu tri-tower: alongside 71-floors Liberation Tower and 52-floors Language Tower and the centerpiece of US$12 billion central business district development project in Purbachal. The 111-floors tower will rise tall. The construction of the tri-towers officially commenced on 10 September 2020. The design, created by Heerim Architects and Planners of South Korea incorporates many unique structural and aesthetic features such as solar glass and automatic waste-management systems. The Azerbaijan Tower was a planned megatall skyscraper that had been intended to be constructed on the Khazar Islands, 25 km (16 mi) south of Baku, Azerbaijan. Overview The president of the Avesta Group of Companies, Ibrahim Ibrahimov, stated that the Azerbaijan Tower would rise to about with 189 floors. The $2 billion tower was to have been the centerpiece of the Khazar Islands, a $100 billion city of 41 artificial islands that was to have spread 3,000 hectares over land reclaimed from the Caspian Sea. World One
World One is a , 76 floor skyscraper in Mumbai, India. As of 2022, it is the tallest completed building in India, though the currently under construction Piramal Aranya Arav at and the topped out Palais Royale at are both taller. It is on the site of the defunct Shrinivas Mill. The site also houses two other towers: World View and World Crest. The complex was developed by the Lodha Group. World One was being built at an estimated cost of over US $321 million. Construction began in 2011, and it was expected to be tall. As the developer failed to obtain approval from the Airports Authority of India for that height, the project was stalled for few years. Wuhan Greenland Center
Wuhan Greenland Center is a tall skyscraper in Wuhan, China. The tower was originally planned to be but It was redesigned mid-construction due to airspace regulations so its height does not exceed above sea level. Another Chinese building, Ping An Finance Center, was also scaled down for similar reasons. The building was designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects in conjunction with Thornton Tomasetti Engineers won the design competition to build the tower for Greenland Group, a real estate developer owned by the Shanghai city government. Goldin Finance 117, also known as China 117 Tower ( Chinese: 中国117大厦), is an unfinished skyscraper in Xiqing District, Tianjin, China. The tower was topped out in 2015 at a height of 597 m (1,959 ft). It has 128 storeys above ground, with 117 of them housing hotel and commercial space, which provides the source of the building’s name. Suzhou Zhongnan Center () is a 499.2 m tall building under construction in Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP), Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. Original plans called for a height of 2293 ft (699m) but plans were scrapped in 2019 in compliance with China's ban on buildings taller than 500 m . The new tower was proposed in 2019 and construction started less than a year later with a planned completion date of 2025.
