Independent National Bloc
Independent National Bloc () is a parliamentary bloc in the Lebanese parliament, formed in 2018 by Marada Movement, Dignity Movement, Farid Haykal Khazen and Moustafa El Husseini. After the 2022 Lebanese general election, the Independent National Bloc includes Tony Frangieh, Farid Haykal-Khazen, William Tawk and Michel Murr. After the 2022–2025 Lebanese presidential election, Michel Murr left the bloc. Lebanese Parliament
The Lebanese Parliament (, ) is the unicameral national parliament of the Lebanon, Republic of Lebanon. There are 128 members elected to a four-year term in Electoral district, multi-member constituencies, apportioned among Lebanon's diverse Christianity in Lebanon, Christian and Islam in Lebanon, Muslim denominations but with half of the seats reserved for Christians and half for Muslims per Constitutional Article 24. Lebanon has Universal suffrage, universal adult suffrage. The parliament's major functions are to elect the President of Lebanon, President of the republic, to approve the Council of Ministers of Lebanon, government (although appointed by the President, the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Prime Minister, along with the Cabinet, must retain the confidence of a majority in the Parliament), and to approve laws and expenditure.
