Independence Brazil Cup
The Brazil Independence Cup was an international association football, football tournament held in Brazil, from 11 June to 9 July 1972, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Brazilian Declaration of Independence. It was called the ''Minicopa'' by the Brazilians and the final was between Brazil national football team, Brazil and Portugal national football team, Portugal, in the Estádio do Maracanã, Maracanã Stadium. Brazil won 1–0, with Jairzinho scoring in the 89th minute. Brazil no longer had Pelé but still had Tostão, Jairzinho and Rivelino, the later two also played in the 1974 FIFA World Cup, in West Germany. Despite Portugal's quality results and team, including S.L. Dušan Bajević
Dušan "Duško" Bajević ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Бајевић, ; gr, Ντούσαν Μπάγεβιτς, ''Doúsan Báyevits''; born 10 December 1948) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. He is regarded as the most successful Bosnian football manager. He spent almost all of his career at hometown club Velež Mostar for who he played almost 400 games and scored 170 goals. He also played with AEK Athens where he won the Alpha Ethniki two times and the Greek Cup once. As a manager, Bajević has also had success, winning one Yugoslav Cup with Velež, four Greek league titles, one Greek Cup, one Greek League Cup and one Greek Super Cup with AEK Athens, then four Greek league titles and two Greek Cups with Olympiacos and one Greek Cup with PAOK.
