Ina Yoon
Ina Yoon (; born 2 May 2003) is a South Korean golfer. Yoon turned professional at age 19 and joined the LPGA tour in 2025. As of 2025, Yoon is ranked 24th in the world. Biography Yoon is from South Korea. Yoon graduated from Jinju Foreign Language High School in Jinju, South Gyeongsang. In 2021, at age 19, she became a professional golfer, playing on the LPGA of Korea Tour's Dream Tour. In 2022, she won the EverCollagen Queens Crown during her rookie season on the LPGA of Korea Tour. Suspension During the 2022 Korea Women's Open, Yoon played the wrong golf ball on the 15th hole of the first round of the tournament. She received a three year suspension from the Korea Golf Association as a result. While suspended, Yoon moved to Tampa, Florida where she worked to develop her game playing on the Minor League Golf Tour. She donated her winnings from the tour to local junior golf programs. Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship
The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship is a biennial amateur golf tournament which takes place in alternating years with the World Amateur Team Championships. The competition consists 20 countries represented by teams of four (two men and two women) and takes place at the Whispering Pines Golf Club, located 80 miles outside of Houston in Trinity, Texas. Added in 2013, the winner of the individual men's competition receives a sponsor exemption to the PGA Tour’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. The World Junior Girls Golf Championship () is an annual world amateur team golf championship for women under 18 organized in Canada. History The inaugural event was held in 2014. The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a major championship in women's professional golf. The Evian Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as The Amundi Evian Championship, is a women's professional golf tournament in France, played at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains. It was originally held in June, moved to July in 2003, and moved again to September in 2013. It returned to a July date in 2019. Founded in 1994 on the Ladies European Tour (LET) as the Evian Masters, it is one of two major championships on the LET. The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Since 2023, it has been played on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. Founded in 1972 by singer and actress Dinah Shore and Colgate-Palmolive chairman David Foster, it was played at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, from its inception through 2022.
