''In Search of Sunrise'' (abbreviated ISOS) is a trance music mix-compilation music CD series released on SongBird, a subdivision of Black Hole Recordings originally founded by Tiësto. Installments under Tiësto The first seven installments in the ''In Search of Sunrise'' series were mixed by Tiësto. The first installment debuted on the ''Billboard'' 200 at #170 with 4,200 sales. Starting with the third album, each compilation was given a subtitle with a certain location that inspired the particular DJ. Tiësto
Tijs Michiel Verwest (; born 17 January 1969), known professionally as Tiësto ( , ), is a Dutch DJ and record producer. He was voted "The Greatest DJ of All Time" by ''Mix (magazine), Mix'' magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by ''DJ Mag'' readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of Electronic dance music, EDM" by many sources. In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the ''Magik (album series), Magik'' and ''In Search of Sunrise (series), In Search of Sunrise'' CD series. Stuart Langelaan (born 4 June 1974), stage name Lange, is a British DJ and record producer. Career Lange was born in Shrewsbury. His career began in 1997, signing his first recording contract with Additive Records in the UK. Early popularity was achieved with a collection of releases attracting the attention of industry leaders such as Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, and Judge Jules. Lange had several hits in the UK Singles Chart. His remix work includes DJ Sakin's "Protect Your Mind", which was followed by his Lost Witness "Happiness Happening" remix. Gabriel & Dresden is an American electronic music duo comprising Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden, formed in San Francisco, California. They collaborated from 2001 to 2008, then again from 2011 to the present. During that time, they have created numerous hit songs and remixes, some of which are considered classics. They won the coveted Winter Music Conference IDMA award for "Best American DJ" twice, in 2007 and 2008, the latter time on the same day that the group split up. Andy Moor (born Andrew Beardmore; 16 January 1980) is an English people, English Trance music, trance DJ, producer and remixer. He used multiple aliases in the past and was part of many other acts such as Tilt (producers), Tilt, Whiteroom, Leama & Moor, and Zoo DJs. Johan Gielen
Johan Gielen (; born 23 February 1968) is a trance musician, DJ, and remixer. Early years Johan started DJing at the age of 17 in his home country of Belgium, and during the latest 15 years has built up an international fame spinning as a DJ in Japan, Australia, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Northern Ireland, Israel, North Cyprus and now also as resident DJ at Club Gorgeous in Copenhagen, Denmark. York (band)
YORK is a German electronic music duo, founded in 1997 by musicians and brothers Torsten and Jörg Stenzel. Producing ambient, downtempo, chillout, house and trance, their productions are known for catchy guitar hooks, atmospheric soundscapes and delicate dance textures. Career Torsten Stenzel began his musical career early in his childhood, learning the piano from the age of five when he began his classical training. In the early 1990s his musical orientation changed, and he discovered the growing techno/house movement. He built his own recording studio. Richard Mowatt, (born in 20 October 1972), commonly known by his stage name Solarstone (formerly spelled Solar Stone), is a British trance DJ and producer based in Birmingham and Wales. The music project Solarstone was founded in 1997 as a trio, and also used the pseudonyms Young Parisians, Liquid State and Z2. Over the years, Solarstone has developed a reputation for keeping to the original and classic trance sound. He is considered to be a veteran by fans in the trance music scene. Since 2012, Solarstone has been pushing forward a Pure Trance movement through tours where he aims to keep the trance genre true to its roots. He's been on DJ Mag's top 100 list in 2008 and 2013.
