"In My Darkest Hour" is a song by the American heavy metal band Megadeth. It is the sixth track from their third studio album '' So Far, So Good... So What!'' It was released as a promotional single in 1988. The song is frequently performed live by the band. The song was featured in the documentary '' The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years'', where it received a music video as well as featuring on the films official soundtrack released under Capitol. Dave Mustaine has said that the song has one his favorite solos that he has written. Penelope Spheeris (born December 2, 1945 or 1946; sources differ) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. She has directed both documentary and scripted films. Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Biography Marcussen's introduction to music recording happened in 1976 when, at the age of 19, he was offered a janitor position at Studio 55, record producer Richard Perry's Los Angeles recording studio. At Studio 55, Marcussen received an education in all facets of music recording and sound production. Michael Wagener
Michael Wagener (born 25 April 1949) is a German former music producer, mixer, and engineer from Hamburg, best known for his work with many top glam metal and heavy metal bands in the late 1980s. He is particularly renowned for his multi-amping and re-amping techniques. Wagener's works have sold over 90 million albums worldwide. History and career Wagener was the original guitarist for the German band Accept. When he turned 18, he was drafted into the German army and was stationed 350 miles away from home. This made it difficult for him to practice with the rest of the band and hence he quit the band. After completing his military service, Wagener began working as an audio engineer in Hamburg in 1972. Charles Conrad Behler (; born June 13, 1965) is an American musician who played drums for the heavy metal band Megadeth from 1987 through 1989, recording the album '' So Far, So Good... So What!'' with the group in 1988. He also appeared in the 1988 rockumentary '' The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years''. He is currently a member of Motor City Freaks.
