Imtech N.V.
The Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), based in Chandigarh, India, is one of the constituent establishments of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It was established in 1984. The institute is engaged in research in many areas of modern biological sciences and microbe-related biotechnology, with special emphasis on research that is interdisciplinary and of a collaborative nature, such as immunity and infectious diseases, protein design and engineering, fermentation science, microbial physiology and genetics, yeast biology, bioinformatics, microbial systematics, exploitation of microbial diversity for bioactives and enzymes for biotransformations. Chandigarh is a city and union territory in northern India, serving as the shared capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. Enzyme
An enzyme () is a protein that acts as a biological catalyst by accelerating chemical reactions. The molecules upon which enzymes may act are called substrate (chemistry), substrates, and the enzyme converts the substrates into different molecules known as product (chemistry), products. Gajendra Pal Singh Raghava is an Indian bio-informatician and head of computational biology at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology. The Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) is an Indian institute of national importance, headquartered at the CSIR-Human Resource Development Centre Campus, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The institute was established for the purpose of granting doctoral and post-doctoral degrees. Streptokinase
Streptokinase is a thrombolysis, thrombolytic medication activating plasminogen by nonenzymatic mechanism. As a medication it is used to thrombolysis, break down clots in some cases of myocardial infarction (heart attack), pulmonary embolism, and arterial thromboembolism. The type of heart attack it is used in is an Myocardial infarction#STEMI, ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). It is given by intravenous, injection into a vein. Side effects include nausea, bleeding, low blood pressure, and allergic reactions. A second use in a person's lifetime is not recommended.
