Imam Khomeini International University
Imam Khomeini International University (IKIU), informally Qazvin International University, is an international university in Iran that was founded after the Islamic Revolution. The bill of IKIU’s constitution was ratified by the Iranian Parliament in 1984. Constituent organs of IKIU include Board of trustees, president, and council. Deputies for Education, Research, and Students and Culture are some of the other departments. IKIU has formed the Brilliant-Talent students’ office to recognize top students and to support and guide the students, providing educational and welfare facilities. It has seven faculties. The Persian Language Teaching Center has hosted students from more than 96 countries. Qazvin
Qazvin (; ; ) is a city in the Central District (Qazvin County), Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Qazvin province, Iran, serving as capital of the province, the county, and the district. Ali Akbar Salehi
Ali Akbar Salehi (, ; born 24 March 1949) is an Iranian academic, diplomat and former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, who served in this position from 2009 to 2010 and also from 2013 to 2021. He served for the first time as head of the AEOI from 2009 to 2010 and was appointed to the post for a second time on 16 August 2013. Before the appointment of his latter position, he was foreign affairs minister from 2010 to 2013. He was also the Iranian representative in the International Atomic Energy Agency from 1998 to 2003. Early life and education Salehi was born in Karbala, Iraq, on 24 March 1949, to Persian parents. Hassan Ghafouri Fard
Hassan Ghafourifard (; 5 August 1943 – 9 March 2023) was an Iranian academic and conservative politician. Ghafourifard held government portfolios in the 1980s, before being appointed to the Physical Education Organization under president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Ghafourifard was born on 5 August 1943. He represented Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat, and Eslamshahr twice in the Parliament of Iran, as well as serving a brief spell from Mashhad and Kalat electoral district. Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) (, ''Dâneshgâh-e 'elm va San'at-e Irân'') is a research institution and university of engineering and science in Iran. Dr. Abolhassan Naeini (, born 1955 in Qazvin) is an Iranian academic and the former chancellor of Imam Khomeini International University from 2004 to 2006 and also from 2014 to 2021. He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology and later received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
