Ilmar Raag
Ilmar Raag (born 21 May 1968 in Kuressaare) is an Estonian media executive, actor, screenwriter and film director, best known for his socio-critical film '' The Class''. He has served as CEO of Estonian Television from 2002 to 2005. He is a well known columnist in many prestigious Estonian newspapers (''Postimees'', ''Eesti Päevaleht''). He has written many scripts and directed critically acclaimed films, notably ''August 1991'' and ''The Class''. Life Raag was born in Kuressaare on 21 May 1968. He received his high school education from Aleksander Mui ( :et) secondary school No 2 of Kingissepa. He graduated from University of Tartu in 1997 and received his M.A. degree in screenwriting from Ohio University, the School of Telecommunications (1999). Kuressaare
Kuressaare () is a town on Saaremaa island in Estonia. It is the administrative centre of Saaremaa Parish and the capital of Saare County. Kuressaare is the westernmost town in Estonia. The recorded population on 1 January 2018 was 13,276. The town is situated on the southern coast of Saaremaa island, facing the Gulf of Riga of the Baltic Sea, and is served by the Kuressaare Airport, Roomassaare harbour, and Kuressaare yacht harbour. Riina Sildos (born 21 July 1964 in Tallinn) is an Estonian film producer. Sildos was born and raise in Tallinn. After graduating from Tallinn Secondary School No. 7 (now, Tallinn English College). in 1982, she enrolled in the University of Tartu, majoring in Russian language and literature, graduating in 1987 with a dissertation on film semiotics, supervised by Professor Juri Lotman. Sildos continued postgraduate studies the same year at the university's Academy of Sciences. Sildos began her career a film critic for Eesti Rahvusringhääling (Estonian Public Broadcasting). Laine Mägi (born Laine Michelson-Adamson; 3 February 1959) is an Estonian stage, film and television actress, dancer and choreographer and dance pedagogue who began her career as a teenager.
