Ilkhan Dostiyev
Ilkhan Dostiyev (born 8 July 2002 in Chimkent, Kazakhstan) is a Kazakh cyclist, who last rode for UCI Continental team . Career In 2019, Dostiyev finished third in the final stage of the Tour de DMZ, a round of the UCI Junior Nations' Cup. He joined the continental team Vino-Astana Motors in 2021. With this team, he became the Kazakhstan Under-23 Road Race Championships vice-champion in 2022. In the 2023 season, he won a race in Uzbekistan included in the 2023 UCI Asia Tour. Following his performances, he joined the Astana Qazaqstan Development Team as a reserve rider for the Astana Qazaqstan Team team in 2024. A strong climber, he finished second in the Tour of Rwanda. He also won a stage at the Orlen Nations Grand Prix and the Giro della Valle d'Aosta, finishing second in the general classification. The Tour of Romania (or "Little Loop") is a cycling competition held in Romania. It is organised as 2.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour. History Inspired by Tour de France, the monthly publication "Car Magazine" held in August 1910 the first edition of "Circuit Wallachia". Astana Qazaqstan Team
Astana Qazaqstan Team () is a professional road bicycle racing team sponsored by the Samruk-Kazyna, a coalition of state-owned companies from Kazakhstan and named after its capital city Astana. Astana attained UCI ProTeam status in its inaugural year, 2007. Following a major doping scandal involving Kazakh rider Alexander Vinokourov, team management was terminated and new management brought in for the 2008 season. The team was then managed by Johan Bruyneel, former team manager of U.S. Postal/Discovery Channel team. Under Bruyneel the ethical nature of the team did not improve, although Astana in this period was very successful. With a lineup including Grand Tour winner Alberto Contador, as well as runner-up Andreas Klöden the results were there, however the team was on the verge of financial collapse in May 2009. The XDS Astana Development Team is a Kazakhstani UCI Continental cycling team established in 2022. The team acts as the development program for UCI WorldTeam . For the 2022 season the team focused on two goals; To provide a gateway for Kazakh cyclists to reach a higher level and to have a team that will be competitive as a UCI Continental team. With the same goals going into the 2023 season the team focused more on Kazakhstan growth with six riders from Kazakhstan and the rest from around the world.
