Ilija Ilić
Ilija Ilić (born 26 April 1991) is a Serbian retired professional footballer who played as a forward. He is currently an assistant coach for USL League One club One Knoxville SC. Career Ilić began his career with the youth clubs of FK Čukarički and Red Star Belgrade, as well as a loan spell with FK Sopot during their 2010 and 2011 season. Ilić played college soccer in the United States with Young Harris College between 2011 and 2014. While at college, he also spent time with USL PDL club Ocala Stampede. After leaving college, he signed with USL club Louisville City on March 26, 2015. Ilić signed for USL Championship side Indy Eleven on 3 December 2018. On 14 December 2020 he moved to USL Championship side New Mexico United ahead of their 2021 season. He was released by New Mexico in July 2022. The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, commonly known as the U.S. Open Cup (USOC), is a knockout cup competition in men's soccer in the United States. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. This season was the last for four teams in the USL, with all changing leagues for 2019 and beyond. FC Cincinnati will join Major League Soccer. 2022 New Mexico United Season
The 2022 New Mexico United season was the fourth season for New Mexico United in the USL Championship, the second-tier professional Association football, soccer league in the United States.The 2022 USL Championship season was set to begin on March 12, with New Mexico United set to play their first competitive game against Las Vegas Lights FC.
