Ilfov River
The Ilfov (not to be confused with the Ilfovăț) is a left tributary of the river Dâmbovița (river), Dâmbovița in Romania. The river has given its name to Ilfov County. Its source is in the hills west of Târgoviște. It flows through the villages Ulmi, Dâmbovița, Udrești, Bungetu, Ilfoveni, Sălcioara, Dâmbovița, Mircea Vodă, Heleșteu, Răcari and Bâldana. Joița
Joița is a commune located in Giurgiu County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Bâcu and Joița. The commune is located on the northeastern edge of the county, on the right bank of the Dâmbovița River and on the left bank of the Ciorogârla River, on the border with Ilfov County. Răcari
Răcari is a town located in Dâmbovița County, Muntenia, Romania. It administers seven villages: Bălănești, Colacu, Ghergani, Ghimpați, Mavrodin, Săbiești and Stănești. It was declared a town in 2004. The town is located in the southeastern part of the county, northwest of Bucharest, on road DN7. It lies in the Wallachian Plain, at an altitude of , and is traversed by the rivers Colentina and Ilfov. Târgoviște
Târgoviște (, alternatively spelled ''Tîrgoviște''; german: Tergowisch) is a city and county seat in Dâmbovița County, Romania. It is situated north-west of Bucharest, on the right bank of the Ialomița River. Târgoviște was one of the most important cities in the history of Wallachia, as it was its capital between the early 15th and 16th centuries. At the 2011 census, the city had a population of 79,610 people, making it the 26th largest in the country. Name The name ''Târgoviște'' is a Slavic name which the city acquired in the Middle Ages.
