Ilay Feingold
Ilay Feingold (also spelled Faingold, he, עיליי פיינגולד; born 23 August 2004) is an Israeli professional footballer who plays as a right-back or centre-back for Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa and the Israel national under-21 team. Early and personal life Feingold was born and raised in Netanya, Israel, to an Israeli family of Ashkenazi Jewish (Romanian-Jewish) descent. His father Avi Feingold is an electrician. He also holds Romanian passport, on account of his Ashkenazi Jewish ancestors, which eases the move to certain European football leagues. Netanya
Netanya (also known as Natanya, he, נְתַנְיָה) is a city in the Northern Central District of Israel, and is the capital of the surrounding Sharon plain. It is north of Tel Aviv, and south of Haifa, between Poleg stream and Wingate Institute in the south and the Avihayil stream in the north. The association football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held from 24 July to 10 August 2024 in France. In addition to the Olympic host city of Paris, matches will also be played in Bordeaux, Décines-Charpieu, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Saint-Étienne. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other.
