Ilario Bandini
Ilario Bandini (18 April 1911 – 12 April 1992) was an Italian businessman, racing driver, and racing car manufacturer. Early years Bandini was born in Villa Rovere, today part of the administrative region of Forlì in Romagna. After finishing elementary school, he apprenticed as a mechanic and turner in Forli. At the age of 25 he moved to Eritrea, then an Italian colony, where he operated a transport business between Dekemhare and Asmara. He returned to Italy in 1939 and, with his savings, opened a garage and car rental/limousine service in downtown Forlì. In the same year, Bandini started competing as a motorcycle racer, racing at Faenza, Lugo di Romagna, and Imola. In 1940, he took part in the Mille Miglia, driving a Fiat Balilla "Coppa d'oro". During World War II, faced with shortages of fuel for civilian use, Bandini adapted his automobile engines to operate with wood gas. Ilario Maria Antonio Zannino (June 15, 1920 – February 27, 1996) was an American mobster who was a member of the Patriarca crime family. Zannino was said to be the third-highest-ranking figure in the Boston faction of the Patriarca family rising to the position of Consigliere. He was a paternal nephew or a paternal first cousin of Boston Patriarca crime family mobster Phillip Zannino. Ilario Pantano
Ilario Gregory Pantano (born August 28, 1971) is a former United States Marine Corps second lieutenant. He has also been an author, a television commentator, and served as a Deputy Sheriff in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was a Republican Party nominee for the US House of Representatives in 2010. Pantano served in the Persian Gulf War, during Operation Desert Storm, and in the Iraq War, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He came to national attention when he was accused of premeditated murder in the killing of two Iraqi captives, during a unit mission near Fallujah, Iraq on April 15, 2004. An article 32 hearing found no credible evidence or testimony for the accusation and declined to prosecute Pantano, dropping all charges. Claiming terrorist threats against his family, he resigned his officer's commission and was honorably discharged. Ilario Carposio
Ilario Carposio (Trento 1852 – Fiume 1921) was an artistic photographer who owned an important studio in Fiume, now Rijeka in present-day Croatia. He was an Italian-speaking citizen of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The studio opened in 1878 and rapidly became renamed and appreciated. Ilario Carposio received several official awards, among them the first prize in the Austro-Hungarian agro-industrial exposition (Trieste, 1882). After Ilario's death, the studio continued to work, thanks to Ilario's son Renato Carposio (1886–1930) and later Renato's wife Maruzza. The activity ceased only in 1947, after the Second World War and the important political changes (Fiume/Rijeka was assigned to Yugoslavia and most of the Italian population left). Ilario Aloe (born 10 July 1986) is an Italian footballer who last played for Ribelle. Career Ilario Aloe was signed by Inter in 2004 from Varese of Serie C1. Ilario Spolverini (1657–1734), known as Spolverini, was an Italian painter. Biography Spolverini was born in Parma. The influence of Mercanti’s master Francesco Monti, known as Brescianino, is evident in his choice of subjects, including the battles, knights and scenes characterised by movement. After a trip to Venice together with Brescianino, his painting displayed a new approach to colour that made it fully original. His work for various noble families in the area of Parma and Piacenza included a series of paintings celebrating the deeds of the Farnese dynasty commissioned by the family in 1714 and repeated three times for residences in Parma, Piacenza and Colorno.
