"Il nostro concerto" is a 1960 Italian song composed by Umberto Bindi (music) and Giorgio Calabrese (lyrics). The song premiered at the Italian Music Festival in New York, in which was performed by Miranda Martino and placed third. It eventually was Bindi's major hit, whose version topped the Italian hit parade for several months. The symphonic structure of the song was inspired by Richard Addinsell's " Warsaw Concerto". Umberto Bindi
Umberto Bindi (12 May 1932 – 23 May 2002) was an Italian singer-songwriter. He is especially known for the popular song he co-wrote with Gino Paoli, ''Il Mio Mondo'' (" You're My World"), which he recorded in Italian in 1963, and ''La musica è finita'' ("Our Song", recorded by Robert Plant on 45 rpm and then on album Sixty Six to Timbuktu) It was later performed by singers in English and other languages. Life and career Bindi was born in Bogliasco (Province of Genoa), Italy, and was classically trained. He wrote his first song, "T'ho perduto" ("I've Lost You"), in 1950. He made his professional debut in Italian popular music in 1959 with his composition, " Arrivederci". The song was recorded by Don Marino Barreto Jr., and soon became the best-selling single in Italy for that year. Steve Lawrence
Steve Lawrence (born Sidney Liebowitz; July 8, 1935 – March 7, 2024) was an American singer, comedian, and actor. He was best known as a member of the pop duo Steve and Eydie with his wife Eydie Gormé, and for his performance as Maury Sline, the manager and friend of the main characters in the 1980 film '' The Blues Brothers'' and its sequel. Steve and Eydie first appeared together as regulars on '' Tonight Starring Steve Allen'' in 1954 and continued performing as a duo until Gormé's retirement in 2009. Paola Musiani
Paola Musiani (25 November 1949 - 8 January 1985) was an Italian singer. Life and career Musiani was born in Vignola, Modena. At the age of 16, while making her accountancy studies, Musiani started singing in the dance halls of her region. In 1966, after taking part in a singing contest with a cover version of The Monkees' "I'm a Believer", she was put under contract by CBS."Paola Musiani" in Gino Castaldo (edited by). Luciano Tajoli (17 April 1920 – 3 August 1996) was an Italian singer and actor. Enrico Sbriccoli (13 November 1934 – 11 September 2013), known professionally as Jimmy Fontana, was an Italian actor, composer and singer-songwriter. Two of his most famous songs are " Che sarà", performed also by José Feliciano with Ricchi e Poveri, and " Il Mondo". Biography Enrico Sbriccoli was born in Camerino, Marche.
