Ikaika Alama-Francis
Brent Ikaika Alama-Francis (born December 4, 1984) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Hawaii Warriors and was selected by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. Early life Alama-Francis was born to former Green Bay Packers backup quarterback and former high school football coach Joseph "Joe" Francis and Rolenda "Ku'ulei" Alama-Francis. He has three older half-brothers from Joe Francis's first wife and two older brothers from Joe's second wife, Kuulei. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. Rodney Henry Marinelli (born July 13, 1949) is a former American football coach. For 48 consecutive years, he had been a defensive coach for several college and professional teams, serving primarily as a defensive line coach when not assigned as coordinator. Hula Bowl
The Hula Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game held annually, usually in January. From inception through the 2021 playing, it was held in Hawaii; since the 2022 edition, it has been played in Orlando, Florida. The game was first staged in 1947, between Contiguous United States, mainland collegiate players and local Hawaiian players; it has been played exclusively with collegiate players since 1960. The bowl was paused following its 2008 edition, then was revived in January 2020. The game was originally held at Honolulu Stadium in Honolulu, then moved to Aloha Stadium in Halawa, Hawaii, Halawa starting with the January 1976 edition. June Sheldon Jones III (born February 19, 1953) is an American football coach and former player who was most recently the offensive coordinator of the Seattle Sea Dragons.
