Ihor Mosiychuk
Ihor Volodymyrovych Mosiychuk ( uk, Ігор Володимирович Мосійчук, born 5 May 1972, Lubny, Poltava Oblast) is a Ukrainian journalist and far-right politician, a leading figure in the organized social-nationalist movement, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Vechirnaya Vasilkov, and a participant in the Vasylkiv terrorists case. He is a former deputy of Verkhovna Rada from Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko. In early 2014, Mosiychuk served as the deputy commander of the Azov Battalion. After he made Jew-baiting comments about Ihor Kolomoisky, he was removed. On 25 October 2017, a parked scooter exploded in Kyiv near the building of Espreso TV, which was, according to an investigation by the Ukrainian police, an assassination attempt on him. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ( uk, Верхо́вна Ра́да Украї́ни, translit=, Verkhovna Rada Ukrainy, translation=Supreme Council of Ukraine, Ukrainian abbreviation ''ВРУ''), often simply Verkhovna Rada or just Rada, is the unicameral parliament of Ukraine. The Inmates are a British pub rock band, which formed after the split of The Flying Tigers in 1977. In 1982, they had a medium-sized international hit with a cover of The Standells' "Dirty Water", and a UK Top 40 hit with their cover of Jimmy McCracklin's track, " The Walk". "Dirty Water" reached number 51 in the United States in January 1980. The song led directly to them recording their debut album, ''First Offence'', produced by Vic Maile for Radar Records. 2019 Ukrainian Parliamentary Election
Snap elections to the Ukrainian parliament were held on 21 July 2019. Originally scheduled to be held at the end of October, these elections were brought forward after newly inaugurated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dissolved parliament on 21 May 2019, during his inauguration. The election result was the one-party majority, a novelty in Ukraine, for President Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party with 254 seats. About 80 percent of the elected candidates were new to parliament; 83 deputies managed to get reelected from the previous parliament and 13 deputies from earlier convocations.
