Igor Mitreski
Igor Mitreski (; born 19 February 1979) is a Macedonian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Mitreski was born in Struga. In early 2005, he was recognized as a featured member of Bayern Munich and later was near to signing for Portsmouth. On 6 November he was suspended from the first team from Energie Cottbus. On 9 January 2009, he was loaned out to the Belgian team Germinal Beerschot. One year later, in January 2010, Bulgarian CSKA Sofia signed Mitreski to a two-year deal for a €300,000. Mitreski and CSKA Sofia mutually agreed to terminate Mitreski's contract as he was no longer in their plans and Mitreski no longer had the desire to play for CSKA Sofia. Struga ( ; , sq-definite, Struga) is a town and popular tourist destination situated in the south-western region of North Macedonia, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. The Bulgarian Cup () is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The Belgian Cup (; ; ) is the main knockout football competition in Belgium, run by the Royal Belgian FA. The competition started in 1908 with provincial selections as the "Belgian Provinces Cup". The DFB-Pokal (), also known as the German Cup in English language, English, is a German knockout Association football, football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). The Israel State Cup (, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. The Cup of Macedonia (, ''Kup na Makedonija'') is the top knockout tournament and the second most important football competition in North Macedonia after the Macedonian First League championship. The qualifying competition for UEFA Euro 2012 was a series of parallel association football competitions held across Europe between 2010 and 2011 to decide the qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2012. The draw for the qualifying rounds was held on 7 February 2010 in the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw, with matches set to take place between August 2010 and November 2011.
