Igor Anatolyevich Guzhva ( uk, Ігор Анатолійович Гужва; born May 23, 1974) is a Ukrainian journalist, commentator, television host, and editor-in-chief of the website ''Strana.ua''. From 2013 until July 29, 2015, he was the owner and leader of the media holding ''Multimedia Invest Group''. Since October 1, 2018, he has been a political refugee in the European Union ( Austria). Early life Igor Guzhva was born on May 23, 1974, in the city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk Oblast. Sloviansk ( uk, Слов'янськ, Sloviansk ; russian: Славянск, Slavyansk or ; prior to 1784 – Tor) is a city in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, the administrative center of the Slovyansk urban community. Anti-vaccination activists and other people in many countries have spread a variety of unfounded conspiracy theories and other misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines based on misunderstood or misrepresented science, religion, exaggerated claims about side effects, a story about COVID-19 being spread by 5G, misrepresentations about how the immune system works and when and how COVID-19 vaccines are made, and other false or distorted information. This misinformation has proliferated and may have made many people averse to vaccination. NewsOne (Ukrainian TV Channel)
NewsOne was a pro-Russian information and educational TV channel in Ukraine. It was a member of the Novyny media holding group unofficially owned by politician Viktor Medvedchuk through his associate Taras Kozak. NewsOne aired from 2005 to 2021. Due to the anti-Ukrainian activities of its owners (Medvedchuk and Kozak) the signals of the TV channels of the media holding were blocked on 2 February 2021 by decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the decision of the National Security and Defense Council.
