Igor Gorgan
Igor Gorgan (born 2 August 1969) is a Moldovan military officer who served as the Chief of the General Staff of Moldova. Biography He was born on 2 August 1969 in Dubăsari. At the age of 18, he joined the Soviet Army, immediately attending the Combined Arms Higher Military School in Novosibirsk until 1991. Upon graduation, he immediately took up a position in an airborne division in Bolgrad, Ukraine. From 1992 to 1995, he was the commander of a guard company in the Ștefan cel Mare 2nd Motorized Infantry Brigade. From 2001 to 2002, he was a student at the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth. Beginning in 2003, he took part in NATO-led international missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Iraq. Chief Of The General Staff (Moldova)
The Chief of the General Staff of the Moldovan National Army () also known as the Commander of National Army is the professional head of the Moldovan National Army and the larger Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova. The position was established on 26 April 1994, two days after the general staff of the national army was established. The purpose of the Chief of the General Staff is to assist the Minister of Defense and the President of Moldova in commanding the Moldovan National Army. The Chief of the General Staff is also the superior to the Commander of the Moldovan Ground Forces and the Commander of the Moldovan Air Force. The Sandu Cabinet was a six-month Cabinet of Moldova in later 2019, led by Maia Sandu of the Party of Action and Solidarity. Alexandru Cel Bun Military Academy
The Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy (AMFA; ) is the main military academy of Moldova. The mission of academy is to prepare officers for service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova in compliance with Euro-Atlantic requirements on infantry, artillery, communication, border guards and carabineers. It is named after Alexander I of Moldavia, who ruled the country as Voivode (Prince) from 1400 and 1432. Eugen Sturza (born 15 December 1984) is a Moldovan politician. He was the Minister of Defence of Moldova under President Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Pavel Filip. Sturza at the time of his appointment was the youngest member of the Filip Cabinet, at 33 years old. Career In 2004, Sturza began his studies at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova in Chisinau.
