Ramat Yishai ( he, רָמַת יִשַּׁי, '' Jesse's Heights''; ar, رمات يشاي) is a town in the Northern District of Israel, located on the side of the Haifa– Nazareth road about eastern to Kiryat Tivon. It was previously called Jaida and was inhabited by Arabs. It achieved local council status in 1958. In it had a population of ; the vast majority of residents are Jewish. History Archaeological remnants have been found from Middle Bronze Age I (a tomb) and the Roman, Byzantine, Umayyad and Abbasid eras. Of particular interest, was a zoomorphic vessel of glass, dating to the Umayyad era. The 2017–18 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 79th season of Israel's nationwide Association football cup competition and the 64th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence.
