Iced (film)
''Iced'' is a 1989 American slasher film directed by Jeff Kwitny, and produced by Robert Seibert. It stars Debra De Liso, Doug Stevenson, Elizabeth Gorcey, Ron Kologie, Joseph Alan Johnson (who also wrote the screenplay), and Lisa Loring. The plot follows a group of friends who are mysteriously invited to a ski resort, where they are stalked and murdered by a masked killer. Plot Four years after their friend Jeff dies in a nighttime skiing accident after being jilted by his lover, a group of childhood friends—couples Trina and Cory; physician John and Diane; Eddie and Jeanette; and Carl—converge upon Snow Peak, a newly-renovated posh ski resort where they have been mysteriously invited for an exclusive New Year's Eve event by real estate developer Alex Bourne. Eddie, who is traveling alone to the resort, is killed before arrival by an assailant with a snowplow while parked along a road. Diane and John are also traveling nearby toward the resort. Elizabeth Gorcey
Elizabeth Gorcey (born January 1, 1962) is an American filmmaker, actress, and writer. She has held leading roles in films such as '' Kidco'' and ''Footloose'' while also producing and directing films which include ''Just Another Man's Story'' and ''Breast Pump & Blender''. She is also the author of the children's book series ''Liv on Life''. Early life and education Gorcey was raised in Long Branch, New Jersey and attended Long Branch High School. Her parents rented apartments and owned Gorcey's Plumbing and Heating. She was interested in acting at a young age, but began by focusing on painting and sculpting. She also sang with the Metropolitan Opera Company. Gorcey graduated high school at the age of 16 and went on to the American Conservatory Theater on a summer scholarship. She attended the University of Arizona and Monmouth University. for one year each. Vinegar Syndrome is an American home video distribution company which specializes in "protecting and preserving Film genre, genre films". The company was founded in 2012 in Bridgeport, Connecticut by Joe Rubin and Ryan Emerson, who created it to restore and distribute old X-rated films that were lost or otherwise unavailable. Their catalog has since expanded to include other types of Cult film, cult and exploitation films, including horror films and action films. Vinegar Syndrome has been compared to the Criterion Collection for its importance to "physical media and film preservation," as well as similarly garnering praise for high-quality home video offerings. Like the Criterion Collection, Vinegar Syndrome is considered a boutique Blu-ray label. In September 2021, Vinegar Syndrome announced the establishment of Vinegar Syndrome Pictures (VSP), a sub-branding dedicated to the production and distribution of films.
