Ibar Kolašin
North Kosovo (, ); also known as the Ibar Kolašin (, or ''Kollashini i Ibrit''); earlier Old Kolašin, (, or ''Kollashini i Vjetër'') and colloquially known as the North (, ) is a region in the northern part of Kosovo, generally understood as a group of four municipalities with ethnic Kosovo Serbs majority: North Mitrovica, Leposavić, Zvečan and Zubin Potok. Prior to the 2013 Brussels Agreement, the region functioned independently from the institutions in Kosovo, as they refused to acknowledge and recognize the independence of Kosovo, declared in 2008. The Government of Kosovo opposed any kind of parallel government for Serbs in this region. However, the parallel structures were all abolished by the Brussels Agreement, signed between the governments of Kosovo and Serbia. Local elections were held in Kosovo on 3 November 2013, with a second round on 1 December. Ivica Dačić
Ivica Dačić ( sr-cyrl, Ивица Дачић, ; born 1 January 1966) is a Serbian politician serving as deputy prime minister of Serbia since 2022 and minister of internal affairs since 2024. He has been the leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) since 2006. Dačić graduated from the University of Belgrade in 1989 and joined SPS in 1991. The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is a North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO-led international NATO peacekeeping, peacekeeping force and military of Kosovo. The Assembly of the Community of Municipalities of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija (), was the assembly of the association of local governments created by the parallel municipal authorities in Kosovo elected in the May 11, 2008 municipal elections called by the Government of Serbia. Ibar (river)
The Ibar ( sr-cyrl, Ибар, ), also known as the Ibër and Ibri (), is a river that flows through eastern Montenegro, northern Kosovo and central Serbia, with a total length of . The river begins in the Hajla mountain, in Rožaje, eastern Montenegro, and passes through southwestern Serbia and northern Kosovo, where it leads back into Serbia to flow into the West Morava river near Kraljevo, central Serbia. The Ibar belongs to the Black Sea drainage basin. Its own drainage area is , with an average discharge of 60 m3/s at the mouth. It is not navigable. Etymology The name is likely derived from Greek, given that the river's ancient name was ''Hiberus''.
