Ian Roberts (equestrian)
Ian Roberts (born on October 28, 1958, in Victoria, British Columbia) competed as a member of the Canadian Equestrian Team in eventing at the 2004 Summer Olympics. His farm is Dreamcrest Farms, in Port Perry, Ontario, which he owns with his wife, Kelly Plitz, also an Olympic eventing rider. Roberts placed 23rd at the 2006 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, and 20th at the 2007 competition. He represented Canada at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games, but was eliminated in the individual competition. Roberts is a graduate of Brentwood College School

The Canadian Equestrian Team or CET (french: Équipe équestre canadienne or ''EEC'') collectively describes the athletes that represent Canada at the highest levels of international equestrian competition, specifically at the World Championship, Olympic, and Paralympic levels. Equestrian At The 2004 Summer Olympics – Individual Eventing
The individual eventing event, part of the equestrian program at the 2004 Summer Olympics, was held from 15 to 18 August 2004 in the Olympic Equestrian Centre on the outskirts of Markopoulo in the Attica region of Greece. Like all other equestrian events, the eventing competition was mixed gender, with both male and female athletes competing in the same division. For the first time, there was two rounds of jumping. Both rounds counted toward the individual results. After the first round, the final team placings were determined. Then the top 25 pairs ( limited to three per nation ) contested a second jumping round, the results from this were added to the riders scores to determine the final individual results. Rolex Kentucky Three Day
The Kentucky Three-Day Event, currently the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event due to sponsorship, is an eventing competition held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. Land Rover Kentucky is a CCI5*-L eventing competition. Five stars is the highest level of competition in the sport, the same level of competition as Eventing at the Olympics and the World Equestrian Games. The event is sponsored by Land Rover. Prize money of $ is distributed among the top placings with $ as well as a Rolex watch awarded to the first place horse and rider. Although the event's name continues to reflect its roots as a three-day competition, the Kentucky Three-Day Event currently takes place over four days (Thursday through Sunday). The 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games were held in Aachen, Germany from August 20 to September 3, 2006. They were the 5th edition of the games which are held every four years and run by the FEI. It was held in the Soers, a district of Aachen. The main stadium of this event was the Hauptstadion. Host selection On September 18, 2002 in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, the FEI awarded the 2006 Games to Aachen. Mill Bay is a commuter town of about 7,200 people located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada about north of Victoria, the capital. It is part of the Cowichan Valley Regional District. Mill Bay was founded in the 1860s with lumber and milling as its primary industries, done at the mill on the bay. It was named for the sawmill built in the area in 1861 by Henry S.
