Ian Patricio Mac-Niven Carlsson (born 25 October 1971) is a Chilean former professional Association football, footballer who played as an Midfielder, attacking midfielder. Career A product of Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, Universidad Católica youth system, Mac-Niven made his debut thanks to the coach Vicente Cantatore in 1991 and stayed with them until 1996, with stints on loan at Deportes Concepción (Chile), Deportes Concepción (1993) and C.D. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Luis Fernando Vergara Meyland (born 13 May 1970), known as Fernando Vergara, is a Chilean football coach and former player. Nicknamed ''El Zamorano de los Pobres'' during his career, he played as a forward. Playing career A product of Audax Italiano youth system, in 1990 he played for Swiss side before returning to Chile and joining Universidad de Chile.
