Ian Cottage is a British film director and writer. ''Small Gestures'' featuring the filmmaker Derek Jarman was premiered at the 1995 Berlin Film Festival where it received a special Jury mention. ''Blue Scars'' (commissioned for the Southbank Centre) was toured with British Film Institute's Poem Films in the UK and India with work by Tony Harrison and Maya Deren. His short film ''Mangetout'' was made for the BBC 10 x 10 New Directors scheme and received critic's choice in The Times, Sunday Times and Express newspapers. Derek Jarman
Michael Derek Elworthy Jarman (31 January 1942 – 19 February 1994) was an English artist, film maker, costume designer, stage designer, writer, gardener and gay rights activist. Biography Jarman was born at the Royal Victoria Nursing Home in Northwood, Middlesex, England, the son of Elizabeth Evelyn (''née'' Puttock) and Lancelot Elworthy Jarman. His father was a Royal Air Force officer, born in New Zealand. After a prep school education at Hordle House School, Jarman went on to board at Canford School in Dorset and from 1960 studied at King's College London. This was followed by four years at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London (UCL), starting in 1963. He had a studio at Butler's Wharf, London, in the 1970s. Danny John Jules
Daniel John-Jules (born 16 September 1960) is a British actor, singer and dancer. He is best known for playing Milton Wordsworth in The Story Makers and ''Red Dwarf'', Barrington which are both children's series. Also he played in ''Maid Marian and Her Merry Men'', and policeman Dwayne Myers in the crime drama '' Death in Paradise''. He was also a protagonist in the hit CBBC children's spy drama ''M.I. Ewen Bremner
Ewen Bremner (born 23 January 1972) is a Scottish character actor. His roles have included Julien in '' Julien Donkey-Boy'' and Daniel "Spud" Murphy in '' Trainspotting'' and its 2017 sequel '' T2 Trainspotting''. Early life Bremner was born in Edinburgh, the son of two art teachers. He attended Davidson's Mains Primary School and Portobello High School. Neil Marshall (born 25 May 1970) is an English film and television director, editor, producer, and screenwriter. Roger Redgate
Roger Redgate is a British composer, conductor and improvisor. He attended the Royal College of Music, studying with Edwin Roxburgh and Lawrence Casserley. Under a DAAD (German Academic Exchange) scholarship he also studied with Brian Ferneyhough and Klaus Huber in Freiburg. In 1984, with the new complexity composers Richard Barrett and Michael Finnissy, he co-founded Ensemble Exposé. Redgate has worked in the fields of jazz, improvised music, film and television.
