Ian Carroll
Ian Robert Carroll (17 November 1946 – 19 August 2011) was an Australian television executive, primarily at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). At the ABC, Carroll established many news and current affairs programs including ''Lateline'' and the '' 7.30 Report'', and developed many others. He was chief executive of ABC International's Australia Network, director of innovation from the time the division was set up in 2007, and established two channels for ABC Digital Television. He developed iView and apps for mobile devices, as well as overhauling the ABC's websites. He also worked at ''The Age'' and the Nine Network. Geraldine Doogue
Geraldine Frances Doogue () (born 29 April 1952) is an Australian journalist and radio and television presenter, known for her work with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). Since January 2024, she has been co-host of ABC Radio National's ''Global Roaming'' current affairs programme. Career After graduating from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Doogue intended to train as a school teacher, but instead decided to apply for a cadetship at ''The West Australian'' newspaper. She later worked for ''The Australian'' and spent several years in the United Kingdom as London correspondent for Rupert Murdoch's Australian newspapers. ''Lateline'' was an Australian television news program which ran from 1990 until 2017. The program initially aired weeknights on ABC TV. In later years it was also broadcast internationally throughout Asia and the Pacific on the Australia Plus Satellite Network, and on the 24-hour ABC News Channel. The late evening current affairs program developed a longstanding reputation for setting the agenda of the following days' news across the continent. ABC Iview
ABC iview is a video on demand and catch-up TV service run by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Currently iview video content can only be viewed by users in Australia. As of 2016, ABC iview attracts around 50 million plays monthly and accounts for around half of the total time streamed by Australian TV video services. Pancreatic cancer arises when cell (biology), cells in the pancreas, a glandular organ behind the stomach, begin to multiply out of control and form a Neoplasm, mass. Mark Walter Scott (born 9 October 1962) is an Australian and American public servant and academic administrator who serves as the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Sydney.
