I Made Sudiadnyana
I Made "Lolik" Sudiadnyana (born November 16, 1970) is an Indonesian former professional basketball player who last played for Garuda Bandung of the National Basketball League (NBL Indonesia). Lolik is known for being the oldest player winning the Most Valuable Player award at age 40. Based on sources, Lolik confessed he collects a total of eight MVP award's. Professional career Starting out practicing basketball in his hometown, Singaraja. He migrated to Malang and joined Bima Sakti Nikko Steel Malang to compete in the Kobatama, the highest level of competition in Indonesia at that time. He was they're star player from 1991 to 1996. In 1997, Lolik moved to Solo to join Bhinneka Solo. His achievements became increasingly brilliant, he took Bhinneka to the Kobatama and IBL finals five times. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. 2001 SEA Games
The 2001 Southeast Asian Games ( ms, Sukan Asia Tenggara 2001), officially known as the 21st Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This was the fifth time that Malaysia plays as SEA Games hosts, the country previously held the event in 1965, 1971, 1977, and 1989, all of which were staged in Kuala Lumpur. Held from 8 to 17 September 2001 (although several events had commenced from 1 September 2001), these were the first SEA Games to have taken place in the new millennium. Around 4,165 athletes have participated at the Kuala Lumpur Games, which featured 391 events in 32 sports. It was opened by Salahuddin, the King of Malaysia at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. Indonesian National Basketball Team
The Indonesia men's national basketball team represents the Republic of Indonesia in international basketball competitions. The governing body of the team is the ''Persatuan Bola Basket Seluruh Indonesia'' ( Indonesian Basketball Association – ''PERBASI''). Its biggest success was the gold medal at the 1996 South East Asian Championship. Team Indonesia is one of the major teams in Southeast Asia. The team finished among the top-four teams in Asia at the 1967 Asian Basketball Championship. At the 1996 SEABA Championship, Indonesia was the dominant country and won the gold medal.
