I Love Belarus
Belarus was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "I Love Belarus" written by Evgeny Oleynik and Svetlana Geraskova. The song was performed by Anastasia Vinnikova, who was internally selected by the Belarusian participating broadcaster Belarusian Television and Radio Company (BTRC) to represent the nation at the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. Anastasia Vinnikova and the song "Born in Byelorussia" were initially announced as the Belarusian entry on 28 February 2011, however the song was reworked and retitled as "I Am Belarusian". The song was later disqualified and the replacement entry, "I Love Belarus", was announced on 14 March 2011. Belarus was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May 2011. Anastasia Vinnikova, (, ''Anastasija Vinnikava''; ) born 15 April 1991 is a Belarusian singer. She represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "I Love Belarus", but failed to qualify to the final. History Anastasia Vinnikova was born in Dzyarzhynsk, BSSR on 15 April 1991. Anastasia attended the Minsk State Linguistic University, School of Translation and Interpreting. Eurovision Anastasia participated in Eurovision in 2011 with the song "I Love Belarus". The song was written by Evgeny Oleinik. Originally, Vinnikova was to perform the song "Born in Bielorussia" until it was discovered that the song had been previously performed in the summer of 2010. Capital TV (Belarus)
Capital Television (CTV) () is a state-owned TV channel in Belarus covering the whole country. The corresponding closed joint-stock company "" was registered on October 19, 2000, and its first broadcast was on January 1, 2001. Initially it covered only the news from the capital city of Minsk, since 2005, the coverage includes the whole country. In December 2009, the channel aired ''The Theorists'', a shot-for-shot clone of ''The Big Bang Theory''. Yuri Naurotski (; ; born 11 May 1991 in Minsk), better known by his stage name Uzari (, ), is a Belarusian singer and songwriter. He represented Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with Maimuna with the song "Time". Previously, he competed in the Belarusian national final in 2012 with the song "The Winner", coming in 5th place, and in 2013 with the song "Secret", coming in 8th place.
