''I fuorilegge del matrimonio'', internationally released as ''Outlaws of Love'', is a 1963 Italian anthology comedy film. It is the second and last film directed both by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani and Valentino Orsini. It is inspired by the draft law presented by the Socialist Senator Renato Luigi Sansone to the approval of the so-called "small divorce". Paolo And Vittorio Taviani
Paolo Taviani (; 8 November 1931 – 29 February 2024) and Vittorio Taviani (; 20 September 1929 – 15 April 2018), collectively referred to as the Taviani brothers, were Italian film directors and screenwriters who collaborated on numerous film productions. At the Cannes Film Festival, the Taviani brothers won the ''Palme d'Or'' and the FIPRESCI prize for '' Padre Padrone'' in 1977 and the '' Grand Prix du Jury'' for '' La notte di San Lorenzo'' (''The Night of the Shooting Stars'', 1982). Marina Malfatti
Marina Malfatti (25 April 1933 – 8 June 2016) was an Italian actress. Biography Born in Florence, Malfatti moved to Paris at the age of 17 where she attended the Cours d'Art Dramatique, the drama school founded by René Simon. Two years later, after returning to Italy, she obtained a scholarship for the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and started appearing in films and on stage in some small roles. Enzo Robutti (24 October 1933 – 13 February 2022) was an Italian actor, voice actor, comedian, playwright, and writer. Scilla Gabel (born Gianfranca Gabellini; 4 January 1938) is an Italian film, television, and stage actress. She appeared in 50 films and multiple television programs between 1954 and 1988. Career Born in Rimini as one of five children, Gabel entered the cinema industry as Sophia Loren's body double. Between 1957 and 1967, she appeared often as the female lead actress in dozens of films but failed to emerge because of the stereotyped roles. Valentino Orsini (19 January 1927 in Pisa – 26 January 2001 in Cerveteri) was an Italian film director. After his first interests to arts (he had been sculptor, stage designer, cinema critic, cineclub animator) in his hometown, in 1954 Valentino Orsini directed with the brothers Paolo and Vittorio Taviani (born in the near small city of San Miniato) the documentary ''San Miniato: luglio'' 1944. After other documentaries, most with Taviani brothers, he realized his first fiction films in 1962 and in 1963, both with the two brothers. After other documentaries Orsini directed his first fiction film alone, ''I dannati della terra'' in 1969. Despite his few fiction films (but he realized a lot of documentaries all around the world) Orsini is highly considered for his role in renewing Italian cinema in 1960s and 1970s, facing subjects such as the peasants' fights in Sicily, the divorce, the underdeveloped countries.
