Jordan Brady
Jordan Brady (born August 10, 1964) is an American director. He was a professional stand-up comic in the 1980s, and later played small roles in many TV shows including ''Baywatch'' and ''Who's the Boss''. Brady wrote and directed the feature film '' Dill Scallion.'' He directed the films '' Confessions of an American Girl'', '' Waking Up in Reno'', '' The Third Wheel'' and Maria Bamford's ''The Special Special Special!'' TV special. He also created a trilogy of documentary films about the art and occupational hazards of stand-up comedy. The first was 2010's '' I Am Comic''. Bridgetown Comedy Festival
The Bridgetown Comedy Festival was a stand-up comedy festival located in the Hawthorne district of Portland, Oregon that took place every spring from 2008 to 2017, featuring standup comedy showcases, live podcasts, panel discussions and improv comedy. It was created in October 2007 by comedians Andy Wood and Matt Braunger and filmmaker Kimberly Brady. Slamdance Film Festival
The Slamdance Film Festival is an annual film festival focused on emerging artists. The annual week-long festival is held in Los Angeles in late February and is the main event organized by the year-round Slamdance organization. The organization also hosts a screenplay competition, workshops, screenings throughout the year, and events with an emphasis on independent films with budgets under $1 million. The Cinefamily was a non-profit cinematheque located in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, at the historic Silent Movie Theatre. The Cinefamily's mission statement was to "reinvigorate the movie-going experience by fostering a spirit of community and a sense of discovery." Cinefamily followed a member-based ticketing system by which a tax-deductible donation provided universal access to all screenings and events. The Feel Good Film Festival (FGFF), also known as the Sunflower Film Festival, was held annually in Hollywood, California from 2008 to 2012. The Festival was the largest of its kind showcasing American, international, independent, and family-friendly films from all around the world that leave the audience feeling good.
