iSpace Foundation is a technology hub in Ghana known to offer a co-working space, tools and facilities for entrepreneurs and startups to launch and manage their business ideas. It was founded in 2013 by two technology entrepreneurs Josiah Kwesi Eyison and Fiifi Baidoo. Activities Though iSpace is known as a technology hub its activities have not been limited to technology. REACH REACH was a mentoring and networking program designed to connect Ghanaian startups with Google entrepreneurs. In Ghana, ''dumsor'' ( 'off and on') is a persistent, irregular, and unpredictable electric power outage. It is usually caused by a power supply shortage. Terminology The term is derived from two separate words from the Asante dialect, Asante Twi, the Akuapem dialect, Akuapem Twi or Fante dialect, Fante dialects of the Akan language, ''dum'' ('to turn off or quench') and ''sɔ'' ('to turn on or to kindle'), and so the term roughly translates as "off-and-on". The term has also evolved into ''dum dum: sɔ no mma'' ('off and off') because of the increase in the intensity of the power outages. In 2018, a new term was coined by the energy minister who referred to the ''dumsor'' as , as compared to the intermittent power outages now ''dum so'', as the country faces outages.
