ISU Junior Grand Prix Final
The ISU Junior Grand Prix Final or JGP Final (titled the ISU Junior Series Final in the 1997–98 season) is the culmination of a series of junior-level competitions – the ISU Junior Grand Prix organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event. At the end of the series, the six highest-placing skaters from each discipline advance to the JGP Final. History The event was first held in early March 1998 in Lausanne, Switzerland, following six qualifying competitions at the start of the season. Eight skaters qualified in each singles' discipline, in addition to six pairs and six ice dancing teams. Fedor Vladimirovich Andreev (russian: Фёдор Владимирович Андреев, born March 2, 1982) is a former figure skater with dual Russian and Canadian citizenship. In single skating, he is the 2003 Canadian bronze medalist and the 1999 junior national champion. In 2010, he switched to ice dancing and competed for Russia with partner Jana Khokhlova for one season. Personal life Andreev was born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union. Stefan Lindemann
Stefan Lindemann (born 30 September 1980) is a German retired figure skater. He is the 2004 World bronze medalist, 2005 European bronze medalist, 2000 World Junior champion, and a seven-time (2000, 2002, 2004–2007, 2010) German national champion. Career Stefan Lindeman started skating at age 4 in Erfurt at the local skating club. At age 12 he wanted to play ice hockey, but his mother kept him in figure skating. His coach was Ilona Schindler. After finishing his school he was sponsored by the Bundeswehr (German Army). In 1995, at age 14, Lindemann made his first successful appearance in the international figure skating scene by placing fourth at the junior world championships. Gao Song (; born March 20, 1981) is a Chinese former competitive figure skater. He is the 2002 Four Continents bronze medalist, 2003 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, 1999 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and 2006 Chinese national champion. Career Gao won the silver medal at the 1998 ISU Junior Grand Prix in China. In the 1999–2000 JGP series, he qualified for the final by winning gold in Norway and placing fourth in Japan. Ilia Sergeyevich Klimkin (russian: Илья Серге́евич Климкин, born 15 August 1980) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2003 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, the 2004 European bronze medalist, the 1999 World Junior champion, and a three-time Russian national silver medalist. Vincent Restencourt (born 28 July 1981) is a French former competitive figure skater. He is a three-time World Junior medalist, the 1998-1999 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, the 1999 Trophée Lalique silver medalist, and the 2000 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion. Career Restencourt started to skate at the age of 6, having been introduced to the activity by his sister, who also competed in figure skating.
