{{Short description, Collegiate soccer award The ISAA Goalkeeper of the Year was an annual award created by the Intercollegiate Soccer Association of America (ISAA) to recognize the best U.S. College soccer in the United States, college soccer Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. The ISAA began naming an annual men's Goalkeeper of the Year in 1983. In 1986, the ISAA began naming a women's Goalkeeper of the Year and continued to award this honor for both men and women through the 1995 season, the last year that any player was named. Saskia Johanna Webber (born June 13, 1971) is a retired American soccer goalkeeper who previously played for the United States women's national soccer team as well as the New York Power and Philadelphia Charge in the Women's United Soccer Association. Briana Collette Scurry (born September 7, 1971) is an American retired soccer goalkeeper. Scurry was the starting goalkeeper for the United States women's national soccer team at the 1995 World Cup (3rd place), 1996 Summer Olympics (gold medal), 1999 World Cup (champions), 2003 World Cup (3rd place), and the 2004 Summer Olympic Games (gold medal). She played in the semi-final and playoff for third place in the 2007 Women's World Cup (3rd place). Jennifer Kim Mead (born June 13, 1972) is an American former soccer player who played as a goalkeeper, making six appearances for the United States women's national team. She also played basketball during her collegiate career. Soccer career Mead played for the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans soccer team in high school, where she was a league MVP and named to the All-New England and All-State selections. In college, she played for the Providence Friars from 1991 to 1993, having not participated in her freshman season as she was preoccupied with basketball, the main focus of her athletic scholarship to attend the school. James Swanner (born January 13, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri) is a retired U.S. soccer goalkeeper and current soccer coach. He was a member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic soccer team and earned one cap with the U.S. national team in 1984. He spent his entire professional career playing indoor soccer.
