Sultan Azlan Shah Airport
Sultan Azlan Shah Airport is an airport serving the city of Ipoh in the Malaysian state of Perak. Situated approximately from the city center, it ranks as the 15th busiest airport in Malaysia. History History and Inception Ipoh Airport was originally planned to be developed in 1983 under the Fourth Malaysia Plan. During that period, the airport could only accommodate smaller aircraft such as the Fokker models. In response to rising air travel demand, a new terminal was proposed in late 1988, with an allocated budget of RM35 million. This expansion included runway extensions to support larger Boeing 737 aircraft. The construction of these improvements was completed in August 1989, with the terminal expected to be operational by mid-September of that year. Decline in Passenger Demand During its peak, Ipoh Airport served a significant number of passengers, partly due to Malaysia Airlines operating services to and from the city. Institut Für Integrierte Produktion Hannover
Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH), which literally translates as "Hanover institute of integrated production", is a non-profit limited company providing research and development, consulting, and training in industrial engineering. History On January 1, 1988, three German engineering professors founded IPH as a spin-off company of Leibniz University Hannover. As the non-profit company dealt with computer-integrated manufacturing, it was originally called “CIM-Fabrik Hannover” (CIM factory of Hanover). The name was later changed to IPH – Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover. In 1991, the company and its 26 employees moved from the inner city to “Wissenschaftspark” in Marienwerder, in the Northwest of Hanover. To create room for an increasing number of employees, the company building was extended just eight years later. The death of professor Eckart Doege, co-founder and managing partner of the IPH, in 2004 marked the end of an era. Bernd-Arno ...

Isopropylphenidate
Isopropylphenidate (also known as IPH and IPPD) is a piperidine based stimulant drug, closely related to methylphenidate, but with the methyl ester replaced by an isopropyl ester. It has similar effects to methylphenidate but with a longer duration of action, and was banned in the UK as a Temporary Class Drug from April 2015 following its unapproved sale as a designer drug. It has been researched as potential methylphenidate replacement for ADHD and narcolepsy, because of fewer side effects. Idiopathic Pulmonary Haemosiderosis
Idiopathic pulmonary haemosiderosis (IPH) is a lung disease of unknown cause that is characterized by alveolar capillary bleeding and accumulation of haemosiderin in the lungs. It is rare, with an incidence between 0.24 and 1.23 cases per million people. Pathophysiology Being idiopathic, IPH by definition has an unknown cause. It is thought to be an immune-mediated disease. The lung bleeding causes accumulation of iron, which in itself causes additional lung damage. Meanwhile, there is insufficient iron for inclusion into the haemoglobin molecules inside red blood cells which carry oxygen to body tissues for cellular respiration. Idiopathic pulmonary haemosiderosis can occur either as a primary lung disorder or as the sequela to other pulmonary, cardiovascular or immune system disorder. * PH1 involves PH with circulating anti-GBM antibodies. * PH2 involves PH with immune complex disease such as systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE. * PH3 involves no demonstrable immune system in ...

Intraparenchymal Hemorrhage
Intraparenchymal hemorrhage is one form of intracerebral bleeding in which there is bleeding within brain parenchyma. The other form is intraventricular hemorrhage). Intraparenchymal hemorrhage accounts for approximately 8-13% of all strokes and results from a wide spectrum of disorders. It is more likely to result in death or major disability than ischemic stroke or subarachnoid hemorrhage, and therefore constitutes an immediate medical emergency. Intracerebral hemorrhages and accompanying edema may disrupt or compress adjacent brain tissue, leading to neurological dysfunction. Substantial displacement of brain parenchyma may cause elevation of intracranial pressure (ICP) and potentially fatal Herniation (brain), herniation syndromes. Signs and symptoms Clinical manifestations of intraparenchymal hemorrhage are determined by the size and location of hemorrhage, but may include the following: * Hypertension, fever, or cardiac arrhythmias * Nuchal rigidity * Subhyaloid retinal h ...
