IF Brommapojkarna
Idrottsföreningen Brommapojkarna, more commonly known as Brommapojkarna (meaning ''the Bromma boys'') or simply BP, is a Swedish association football, football club based in the borough of Bromma, in the western parts of Stockholm municipality. Brommapojkarna is the largest football club in Europe in terms of the number of active youth teams of all ages – in 2007 there were 247 teams and 3,000 players. The men's team plays in the Allsvenskan, the first tier, and the women's team plays in the Damallsvenskan, the first tier. The club is famous for its youth academy, which has produced numerous top-quality Swedish players throughout the years. The club is affiliated to the Stockholms Fotbollförbund. Grimsta IP
Grimsta IP is a multi-use stadium in Vällingby, Sweden. It is currently used for association football, football matches and is the home stadium of IF Brommapojkarna. The stadium holds 5,000 people after the latest expansion. The latest expansion took place between 2015 and 2017 with the construction of the new stand that cost 57 million kronor, it includes also the construction of new locker rooms, a new press stand and a new bar. The new stand, with more than 2,000 seats, fulfills the requirement of the Swedish football association for having the license for playing in Superettan and Allsvenskan. The inauguration of the new Grimsta IP was celebrated on 8 April 2017 with the Superettan football game between IF Brommapojkarna and Örgryte IS (3-0) in front of 1,722 spectators. Rasmus Örqvist (born 18 October 1998) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for IF Brommapojkarna in Allsvenskan. He hails from Skövde Municipality, and played several years for Skövde AIK before making the move to Norrby IF. Victor Stange Lind (born 12 July 2003) is a Danish professional footballer who plays for Allsvenskan side IF Brommapojkarna. Club career Lind was born in Løgumkloster and was part of the SønderjyskE academy, before moving to FC Midtjylland in 2018. He made his professional debut for Midtjylland on the 28 July 2021, coming on as a substitute during the Champions League qualifying 2–1 home win against Celtic, that saw them reach the next round. Carl Oliver Zandén (born 14 August 2001) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Allsvenskan side IF Brommapojkarna. Club career Born in Alingsås, Västergötland, Zandén started his career at hometown club Gerdskens BK, before joining the youth ranks of Elfsborg in 2016 at the age of 15. Even Hovland (born 14 February 1989) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna. Club career In his youth, Hovland played for the local clubs Vadheim IL and IL Høyang, before joining Sogndal in 2007. During the warm-up to the opening match of the 2009 season against Hønefoss, Hovland broke his foot, and missed almost the entire season. Superettan (; ) is an association football league and the second highest league in the Swedish football league system, league system of Swedish football, Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1 (Swedish football), Division 1.
