Francesco Friedrich
Francesco Friedrich (born 2 May 1990) is a German bobsledder who has been active since 2006. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, he and his brakeman Thorsten Margis tied with Canada's Justin Kripps and Alexander Kopacz for the gold medal in the two-man competition. Friedrich also won gold outright in the four-man event alongside Margis, Candy Bauer and Martin Grothkopp, making Friedrich the fifth German pilot to win two-man and four-man golds at the same Games, after Andreas Ostler in 1952, Meinhard Nehmer in 1976, Wolfgang Hoppe in 1984 and André Lange in 2006. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, Friedrich and Margis again won the gold medal with both sleighs. Tobias Schneider (born 23 July 1981, Berlin) is a German speed skating, speedskater. He is employed by the German Army as a ''Sportsoldat'' (sports soldier). His best distances are the longer ones, the 5,000 m and 10,000 m, but he is also among the best current German allround skaters. On 25 November 2006 at the Speed Skating World Cup, World Cup in Moscow he set a new German record on the 10,000 m with 13:16.36. This also made him the highest ranked German speedskater on the Adelskalender (skating), Adelskalender – a year later he was surpassed by Robert Lehmann, however. In 2006 he was selected as ''deutscher Eisschnellläufer des Jahres'' (German speedskater of the year). Christoph Hafer (born 14 April 1992) is a German bobsledder. Career Hafer started with the sport of luge on the Königssee bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track at the age of nine. In 2010, he switched to bobsleigh and has been part of the German national team since 2014. Hafer starts for BC Bad Feilnbach and Eintracht Wiesbaden. He is coached by Thomas Prange.
