I.M.C.
The Institute of Consolata Missionaries (), commonly called the Consolata Missionaries, is a Catholic Church, Catholic religious congregation of Pontifical Right with branches for both men and women. Its members add the nominal I.M.C. after their names to indicate membership in the Institute. The Institute was established in 1901 by the Italian priest Saint Giuseppe Allamano in Turin. He established a branch of the order for women, the Consolata Missionary Sisters, in 1910. Its headquarters is in Viale della Mura Aurelie 11-13, Rome, Italy. In 2018, the congregation had 227 houses, 947 members (737 priests). Giorgio Marengo
Giorgio Marengo, I.M.C. (; born 7 June 1974) is an Italian prelate of the Catholic Church. Created a cardinal by Pope Francis on 27 August 2022, he has been the Apostolic Prefect of Ulaanbaatar, a missionary jurisdiction that covers the entire country of Mongolia, since 2 April 2020. He is the second youngest member of the College of Cardinals. Biography Marengo was born in Cuneo on 7 June 1974. He is part of the scouts, practices fencing and he graduated at a classical lyceum. Anthony Ireri Mukobo I.M.C., (born 23 September 1949) is a Kenyan Catholic prelate who served as the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Isiolo from February 2023 until his age-related retirement in September 2024. Before that, from January 2006 until February 2023, he was the Apostolic Vicar of the Diocese of Isiolo. Giuseppe Allamano
Saint Giuseppe Allamano, IMC (21 January 1851 – 16 February 1926) was an Italian Catholic priest who established the Consolata Missionaries (I.M.C.) for males and another for females, the Consolata Missionary Sisters. Allamano also served as the rector of the Santuario della Consolata and transformed the shrine into a source of spiritual renewal for the faithful. He was beatified on 7 October 1990 and canonized on 20 October 2024. Life Giuseppe Ottavio Allamano was born in Asti in 1851 as the fourth of five children to Joseph and Marianna Cafasso Allamano.
