I.CO.P. S.p.A. Società Benefit is an Italian construction company founded in 1920. The company introduced the Microtunneling, microtunnel and direct pipe technologies in Italy and is one of the main European players in the Deep foundation, foundation sector. It is active in special underground works, maritime works and infrastructure, and is based in Basiliano in the province of Udine. The company participates in the Eteria Consortium, a construction hub with Itinera of the Gavio Group and Vianini Lavori of the Caltagirone Group. Since 2024, it has been listed on the Borsa Italiana, Milan Stock Exchange. History In 2020 ICOP became the first Benefit corporation in Infrastructure. It acquired the Ferriera di Servola (Servola ironworks) from Arvedi to convert it for logistics use. Major projects In 1991 I.CO.P. introduced microtunneling technology. Autostrada A34 (Italy)
The Autostrada A34 is an ''autostrade of Italy, autostrada'' (Italian language, Italian for "motorway") long in Italy located in the Regions of Italy, region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia that branches off of the Autostrada A4 (Italy), Autostrada A4 at the Villesse junction going towards Gorizia. The motorway ends in Vertoiba/Vrtojba, where it continues as the A1 motorway (Slovenia), A1 motorway in Slovenia. The highway is managed by Autovie Venete. Previously, before the redevelopment, the highway was classified as a junction (Raccordo autostradale RA17), but was granted the new classification as Autostrada A34 by the Ministry of Transport. The entire highway requires the use of winter equipment from 15 November to 15 April. History The original junction was opened in the late 1970s.
