Høgtunga (Lom)
Høgtunga is a mountain in Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about northeast of the village of Øvre Årdal and about southwest of the village of Beitostølen. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Reinstinden (Lom), Reinstinden to the north; Surtningssue to the northeast; Tjønnholstinden and Knutsholstinden to the southeast; Store Rauddalseggi to the west; and Storådalshøi, Hinnotefjellet, Nestsøre Hellstugutinden, and Søre Hellstugutinden to the northwest. Innlandet
Innlandet is a county in Norway. It was created on 1 January 2020 with the merger of the old counties of Oppland and Hedmark (the municipalities of Jevnaker and Lunner were transferred to the neighboring county of Viken on the same date). The new county has an area of , making it the second largest county in Norway after Troms og Finnmark county. The county name translates to "The Inland" which reflects that the county is the only landlocked county in Norway. The county covers approximately 17% of the total area of the mainland area of Norway. It stretches from the Viken county and the Oslo region in the south to Trøndelag county in the north. In the northwest, the county borders Møre og Romsdal and the Vestland county in the west. To the east the county borders the Swedish counties of Värmland and Dalarna. There are 291 peaks in Norway with elevations of over above sea level and that have a topographic prominence of more than 10 meters. The following list includes those 186 that have a topographic prominence of 50 meters or more. The topographic isolation refers to the shortest ''horizontal'' distance one would have to travel to find a higher summit. Location of peaks Most of these peaks are in the municipalities of Lom, Skjåk, Luster, and Vågå, connected to the mountain chain that reaches its prominence with Jotunheimen. Store Rauddalseggi or Store Rauddalseggje is a mountain on the border of Luster Municipality in Vestland county and Lom Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park and it is the 70th highest mountain in Norway. The mountain sits about south of the village of Fossbergom and about northeast of the village of Øvre Årdal. The mountain is surrounded by several other notable mountains including Storådalshøi and Høgtunga to the east; Snøholstinden to the south; Mjølkedalstinden to the west; Austre Høgvagltinden and Høgvagltindene to the northwest; Skarddalstinden to the north; Skarddalseggi and Semeltinden to the northeast. Store Knutsholstinden is a mountain in Vågå Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The tall mountain is located in the Jotunheimen mountains within Jotunheimen National Park. The mountain sits about southwest of the village of Vågåmo and about northwest of the village of Beitostølen.
