Héctor Vargas (entomologist)
Héctor Vargas (born 15 March 1959) is an Argentinian football manager. Club career As a player, Vargas started his career at Estudiantes, before having spells at Temperley, Gimnasia and in Colombia. Managerial career Vargas alo started his managerial career at Estudiantes, before moving to Honduras to take charge of Universidad in 1997. He then managed Vida, Universidad again, Platense and from 2007 Hispano. He returned at Platense in May 2009. In January 2012 he was appointed manager of Victoria, where he stayed until 4 December 2013 when he was appointed manager of C.D. Olimpia.Héctor Vargas, nuevo técnico de Olimpia

2015–16 Honduran Liga Nacional
The 2015–16 Honduran Liga Nacional season was the 50th Honduran Liga Nacional edition, since its establishment in 1965. For this season, the system format remained the same as the previous season. The tournament began on 31 July 2015 and ended on 22 May 2016. 2015–16 teams A total of 10 teams will contest the tournament, including 9 sides from the 2014–15 season plus Juticalpa F.C., promoted from the 2014–15 Liga de Ascenso. Managerial changes Apertura The Apertura tournament is the first half of the 2015–16 season. It began on 1 August with a 1–0 C.D. Victoria's win over Platense F.C. at Estadio Nilmo Edwards. Juticalpa F.C.'s first ever Liga Nacional game occurred on 9 August with great success for the debs as they managed to beat Real C.D. España with a 2–0 score. The 2019 Honduran Supercup was a match arranged by the Honduran Liga Nacional and the Honduran Cup which took place on 24 April 2019 between Platense F.C., winners of the 2018 Honduran Cup and C.D. Marathón the winners (with best record) of the 2017–18 Liga Nacional. This was the second official edition of the Honduran Supercup and the 6th overall. F.C. Motagua were the defending champions. The 2017–18 Honduran Liga Nacional season was the 52nd Honduran Liga Nacional edition since its establishment in 1965. For this season, the system format remained the same as the previous season. Honduras Progreso, winners of the 2015–16 Liga Nacional (Apertura tournament) and Club Deportivo Olimpia, winners of the 2015 Honduran Cup.
