Håkon Paulsberg
Håkon Paulsberg (born 26 July 1952 in Hunndalen, Norway) is a Norwegian musician and singer-songwriter, the father of the jazz saxophonist Hanna Paulsberg, now living in Rygge, Østfold. He is known for cooperations with musical profiles like Jan Erik Vold, Arne Domnerus and Clifford Jordan and composing music to lyrics by poets like Georg Johannesen. Career Paulsberg has extensive experience as a drummer in a variety of styles, and has a long career as a musician. From 1980 until date, he has been active in different bands, but has also collaborated with international jazz profiles like Arne Domnerus and Clifford Jordan. At the end of the 90 Paulsberg changed role from being a drummer to become a guitarist and singer-songwriter with the album ''Jinter'' (1999) in which he interprets the lyrics of Alf Prøysen. Hunndalen
Hunndalen is a commercial and residential area of Gjøvik municipality, Innlandet (formerly Oppland) County. The area is considered to be one of districts of Gjøvik and is approximately three kilometers west of downtown Gjøvik. History Hunndalen is one of the oldest industrial sites in the former Oppland County. The nerve of Hunndalen was then Toten pulp Mill (closed down in 1981). The company O. Mustad & Søn AS (manufacturer of fish hooks and hardware equipment) are still active in the area for a number of redundancies. Mustad old industrial area has recently been revitalized with a number of new enterprises - and stands today as Mustad Business Park located on the border between Hunndalen district and center of Gjøvik. Georg Johannesen
Georg Johannesen (22 February 1931 – 24 December 2005) was a Norwegian author and professor at the University of Bergen. Background He was born in Bergen, Norway. He was the son of Knut Johan Johannesen (1900–1979) and Ingeborg Malene Olsdatter Skaalevik (1902–1981). Johannesen graduated artium at Bergen Cathedral School in 1949. He studied history, English and Norwegian at University of Oslo and took his master's degree in Literature History in 1960. He wrote his dissertation ''Vårmotivet hos Olaf Bull'' on the poetry of Olaf Bull (1883–1933). From 1960 to 1963, he was a high school lecturer and 1964–69 a freelance author and writer. In 1969 he joined the University of Bergen as assistant teacher at the Nordic Institute. He was a senior lecturer in Scandinavian literature from 1977, associate professor in 1981–86 and in 1996 he was appointed professor in rhetoric. He drowned while on vacation in Egypt in 2005. Alf Prøysen () (23 July 1914 – 23 November 1970) was a Norwegian author, poet, playwright, songwriter and musician. Prøysen was one of the most important Norwegian cultural personalities in the second half of the 20th century. He worked in several different media including books, newspapers and records. He also made significant contributions to music as well as to television and radio. He also wrote in the ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1954 until his death. He was also noted for his series of books featuring ''Mrs. Pepperpot'' (Norwegian: ''Teskjekjerringa''). Clifford Laconia Jordan (September 2, 1931 – March 27, 1993) was an American jazz tenor saxophone player and composer. Originally from Chicago, Jordan later moved to New York City, where he recorded extensively in addition to touring across both Europe and Africa. He recorded and performed with Art Farmer, Horace Silver, Max Roach, J.J. Johnson, and Kenny Dorham, among others. In later years, performed with Cedar Walton's quartet Eastern Rebellion, and led his own groups, including a big band.
